God is my Friend

God is my friend; God is your friend,
He gave His Son for you and me.
Because God gave all, I also give everything I have.
What is mine is also yours! – God is our friend.

God is love, so I love you as God has loved me.
God is kind, so I am kind to you as He was kind to me.
God is the giver of life, so I give unto you as He has given me.

O what love, joy, and peace I have found in Jesus my Friend,
He has taught me to give and care for others as He gave His life for me.
All that Jesus has given me, I give to the world around me.
